you don’t actually …
you don’t actually have to mute the low E on the Am chord. E is a 5 is an A chord, so it can be included. I think it adds a bass-y coolness to the Am chord. Besides, you’re doing an F# bass later, so it sounds better if the bass is raised a whole step instead of just creating it suddenly with the F#.

You Beauty!!! I really felt like learning a new song today but didnt know which one so i typed ‘acoustic guitar song tutorial’ in to youtube to see if anything took my fancy. I watched a couple of your videos and thought you were really good but I didnt really feel like learning those songs… then i found this song and was like YES!!! @CJ9M try a guitar with the strings closer to the fretboard if you now what i mean on acoustics they’re naturally higher maybe if your really stuck try buying a cheap squier strat or something:)
